🎒 Backpacks are BACK! And while they’re a school-day must-have, they can also sneak in extra stress on your child’s spine.
We see it all the time—kids hunched forward, bags slung over one shoulder, and wondering why their neck or back hurts. Even small imbalances can affect posture, muscle development, and the nervous system over time.

✅ Keep their spine safe with these backpack tips:
• Keep weight at 10–15% of their body weight
• Use both straps (no one-shoulder carrying!)
• Pack the heaviest items closest to the spine
• Adjust so it sits high and snug, not low and dragging
• Look for padded straps and a chest/waist buckle

📚 Pair these habits with regular chiropractic check-ins, and you’ll set them up to thrive—in the classroom, on the playground, and everywhere in between.
