Have you met Nancy?

Nancy Welch is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Nancy received her Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She joined All About Women in 2014 and has called it home ever since! Nancy provides both gynecologic and obstetric care to patients. In her free time Nancy enjoys staying active with her husband and their two little girls. They love getting out into nature and running anything from a 5k to a marathon on any given weekend!

Have you met Paddi, one of our amazing nurse practitioners?

Paddi Ciranni is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with a dual master’s degree in Perinatal and Women’s Health from the University of Delaware. Paddi has been recognized as one of the top 50 Nurse Practitioner graduates from the University of Delaware since graduating in 2000. Before receiving her NP degree, Paddi worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse and a labor and delivery nurse for over ten years. She also worked as a Performance Improvement Analyst for five years. Before she joined All About Women in 2012, Paddi worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Christiana Care Health Systems for over ten years. She has served on numerous committees including Chair of the State of Delaware Fetal/Infant Mortality Case Review and as a Commissioner for the State of Delaware Child Death, Near Death, and Stillborn Commission. She currently serves on the Maternal Mortality Review and volunteers at the Hope Medical Clinic in her spare time. Paddi Ciranni is accepting new patients.

Meet Ashley, our Physican Assistant.

Ashley August is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who received her degree from Philadelphia University. Ashley spent 3 years with Anesthesia Services and then moved into the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Christiana Care. She provides gynecologic and obstetric care in the office and also assists our physicians in the operating room and on the labor and delivery floor. She resides in New Castle with her husband and 3 children. Ashley enjoys working out, going to concerts, attending her children’s sporting events and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Dr. Chavez, one of the three physician owners at All About Women. She joined All About Women in 2011. She is originally from El Paso, Texas, is married, and has two children. She received her BS and MD degrees from the University of Connecticut. She completed her residency at Christiana Care, where she served as the administrative chief resident in her final year. Dr. Chavez is board certified and an ACOG fellow. She serves on Christiana’s Peer Review Committee. Dr. Chavez enjoys spending time with family and friends, days at the beach, and evenings at the ball fields.
