i made this moss-mandala for theo today, in the center is the space-time coordinates of the day we realized we were in love. we’ve been together just six months, but it’s really hard to imagine how i made my way through the world before then. i never dreamed that i would get to experience love like this, love with someone so rare and vibrant and full, who understands me, challenges me, and meets me where i’m at. once in a lifetime, if we are incredibly lucky, we meet someone and we just know. there is an e. m. forster quote that goes, “when i am with him, smoking or talking quietly ahead, or whatever it may be, i see beyond my own happiness the intimacy, occasional glimpses of the happiness of thousands of others whose names i shall never hear, and i know that there is a great unrecorded history.” i am so grateful for the exquisite and wonderful adventures we have had, for the beautiful life we are working every day to build together, and for the future we will grow and blossom into. there is much to be said for learning about yourself through solitude, and i spent many years on these lessons. there is also much to learn in love, and in deciding to share all of yourself with another person. each day i am reminded of the importance of truth, vulnerability, and of the opportunity to be fully myself. i am so grateful to have found my missing piece ♥️

theo made me this adorable arrangement that i love so so much.... here are the plants that hang out in our bathroom! the bathroom is a great place for plants like mosses and bromeliads because you rarely need more than the humidity from showers to water them. we have a bunch of different sizes of moss arrangements available if you wanna spice up your showers ;)

a lively, musical saturday night at hal’s river gallery. if you don’t know hal, he’s a retired environmental scientist, an artist, naturalist, author, wild edibles expert, visionary, and much more.... zach, theo, and i had a great time with hal and his wife jodie playing tabla, theremin, and other kickass instruments surrounded by beautiful, rare, exquisite, and luxurious things... when it comes to art i am unashamedly materialistic ;) @ Hal's River Gallery
