Meet Josh, our Plant Operations Director at Spring Oak at Christiansburg 🔧

Josh leads everything behind the scenes that keeps our community running smoothly, safely, and comfortably each day. From maintenance and repairs to making sure every space is well cared for, he plays a big role in the experience our residents and families have here.

With over 10 years of experience in assisted living, Josh has developed a strong passion for building meaningful connections with residents. He finds a lot of fulfillment in supporting their daily lives and helping create a sense of community and belonging.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Josh brings warmth, compassion, and a people-first approach to his work. Above all, he’s a proud father and says his daughter is his greatest joy and inspiration.

We're so excited to introduce Taner, our Regional Director of Business Operations for Virginia.

Taner's passion for senior living didn't start with a job, it started at home, caring for her grandparents, and never really stopped. By 16, she was already working in the field through clinicals in her high school nursing program. That kind of calling doesn't come from a resume. It comes from the heart.

With a wonderful career in senior living, including three years with Spring Oak, Taner brings something that's hard to teach: a genuine love for the people she serves. Building connections with residents and making a real difference in their daily lives isn't just what she does. It's why she shows up.

When she's not at the community, you'll find Taner soaking up time with her family, relaxing on the Gulf, or hunting down a great find at her favorite boutiques.

We're so glad she's part of the Spring Oak family — and we can't wait for you to meet her!

We're so excited to introduce Sarah, the Executive Director of Spring Oak at Christiansburg.

Sarah brings a genuine love for this work — and it shows. A Licensed Assisted Living Administrator with a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Radford University Carilion, she has the credentials. But what really sets Sarah apart is how she shows up every day: present with residents, connected to families, and deeply committed to making this community feel like home.

She found her professional home at Spring Oak in 2023, and we're lucky to have her leading the way as we open our doors this spring.

When she's not at the community, you'll find Sarah with her family or nose-deep in a good book — because she believes the best leaders never stop learning and never stop connecting.
