Cold weather can cause Narcan to freeze at 5°F or below. When frozen, the spray will not work. After Narcan fully thaws at room temperature (about 15 minutes), it can be used and is effective.

If an overdose is suspected while Narcan is frozen, do not wait — call 911 right away. If the person is not breathing or is breathing slowly, provide rescue breathing until Narcan can be given and help arrives.

We’ll explore current trends, local data, lived experience, the impact of the War on Drugs, and we will discuss practical, evidence based ways we can move forward together.

These forums are designed to create understanding, reduce stigma, and strengthen community response through education, dialogue, and shared responsibility.

This event is open to community members, families, providers, educators, faith leaders, and individuals with lived experience. All are welcome.
