Reports out of Weirton, West Virginia are warning about a suspected spike in fentanyl-laced co***ne connected to multiple overdoses and at least one death.

What happens in the Northern Panhandle moves south fast. We are connected through I-79, I-77, Route 19, Route 460, and the entire Appalachian corridor that runs through Charleston, Beckley, Bluefield, Wytheville, Pulaski, Radford, Christiansburg, and throughout the New River Valley.

Carry naloxone.
Don’t use alone.
Use fentanyl test strips when possible.
Check on your people.
Call 911 if someone is unresponsive or not breathing.
