Breastfeeding and expressing milk while returning to work can be challenging. Talk to your employer early to create a plan before returning to work to plan for the following:

• Where can you express breast milk in a private, non-bathroom space?
• Where can you store breast milk (for example, refrigerator or insulated cooler.)?
• Where can you clean pump parts?
• What times during your work schedule are best for you to express breast milk?

Southcentral Foundation supports breastfeeding parents returning to work. Visit https://ow.ly/ZEPb50WAYw5 to learn more, or to contact your integrated care team to reach a lactation and infant feeding consultant.
