And their care doesn’t stop when moms and babies leave the hospital. They also lead postpartum support groups and classes to help moms stay connected, confident and supported every step of the way.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude to Debbie Espe and William (Bill) Hall. Debbie concluded her tenure as chair of the Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center Board of Directors in June and Bill assumed this important position this month. For over 18 years, Debbie has been a steadfast supporter of Sharp Chula Vista, having helped guide the hospital through pivotal moments. Debbie’s service to Sharp Chula Vista continues as co-chair of the Sharp Chula Vista 50th Anniversary Gala, taking place this September. We are deeply thankful for Debbie’s wisdom, passion and unwavering commitment to our community, and we wish her many happy days ahead as she enjoys her new role as grandma.

As the new chair of the Sharp Chula Vista board of directors, Bill brings extensive experience, having served on more than 20 different boards of directors throughout San Diego. Bill is invested in and enthusiastic about Sharp Chula Vista’s future and looks forward to supporting the hospital in its vision to grow to serve more patients and families. Bill is admired for his steady leadership and calm presence. He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and he has traveled all over the world.
