Ending the month of March! Fredericka Manor residents took the ferry to Coronado Island for a delightful afternoon of lunch and shopping!

Our Dining Room Department hosted an epic tailgate party to celebrate the start of the baseball season. They served up nacho cheese, cracker jacks, hotdogs, hamburgers, and refreshing beers.

We also honored incredible contributions of women throughout history with a special event featuring a guest speaker who shared inspiring stories and insight. It was a powerful reminder of the achievements and challenges, faced by women and how we can continue to support and uplift each other.

Sharing of the Green on St. Patrick's Day: A Putting Contest at Fredericka Manor. Residents were invited to challenge members of the Philanthropy Committee and Front Porch Communities Foundation officers to a round of miniature golf. Participants try their luck putting around leprechauns, snakes, pots of gold, shoes and other St. Patrick's Day related items. The amazing course was designed and built by our very own residents! The day ended with an Irish Meal and Irish Dancers. O' what a fun day!

We had a great time whale watching this week! We did not spot any whales, but we did see dolphins, sea lions, a submarine, beautiful scenery and lots of smiling faces!

Fredericka Manor residents truly enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon, watching the heartfelt film “Familiar Touch”. It was even more special, knowing it was filmed at our sister community.  Of course, no movie matinee is complete without popcorn and our favorite beverages.

Celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year 2026
We had a fantastic time, welcoming the Chinese lunar new year with an unforgettable celebration at Fredericka Manor. Our residents were treated to mesmerizing performances by talented lion dancers and a captivating Chinese drummer, bringing energy and cultural richness to our community. It was all smiles and joy for everyone. Here’s to a year filled with health, happiness, and prosperity!

Super Bowl Sunday fun at Fredericka Manor!
What a fantastic day we had watching the Super Bowl! Our residents enjoyed delicious hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos and cheese along with refreshing beverages.  The highlight was definitely the halftime show residents got up to dance and celebrate together!

“Bach Midday Concert”
Today, our residents enjoyed an enriching experience at the Bach@Noon classical concert in Point Loma. The atmosphere was filled with beautiful melodies, of the classical string ensemble, and the highlight of the day was a delightful conversation with the talented musician Joshua Rubin, who mesmerized us with his skills on the Basset Clarinet.
Our residents were left inspired and uplifted, eager for more musical concerts in the future!
