A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our two-day event! From informative sessions to amazing partnerships and unforgettable fun, we’re grateful for the energy and enthusiasm you brought.

Fredericka Manor culture club presents Peru in motion night tonight was filled with captivating rhythms of Peruvian dances, showcasing, colorful, and creative costumes that truly brought the spirit of Peru to life. Our residence. We honor all the amazing dads this past Father’s Day with a classic car show that’s sure rev up their engines! Residents enjoyed live music, delicious popcorn and refreshing drinks.

May was Mental Health Awareness Month and our wellness committee adopted Mental Health America's theme "Turn Awareness into Action." We had many opportunities for residents and staff to practice self-care and build their coping tools including: a walk around the pond, guided meditation, a weekly mindfulness exercise on our radios and a tranquility tea party to learn about the soothing benefits of tea while making a mindfulness/calm jar.

Thank you to everyone who participated! Let's continue to find ways to care for ourselves and our community; reaching out for help is a sign of strength! You are not alone.

May Highlights at Fredericka Manor

May has been a vibrant month at Fredericka Manor! We kicked off the month by celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a lively Mariachi performance, followed by an outing to an authentic Mexican restaurant where residents enjoyed delicious cuisine and great margaritas.

In honor of Mother’s Day, we hosted a heartfelt succulent planting activity, allowing families and loved ones to create lasting memories together.

May was made even more special with a captivating dance performance from a talented Ukrainian Children’s group, showcasing the beauty of their culture, presented by the Fredericka Manor Culture Club.

To round off the month, our residents enjoyed a delightful shopping trip around Old Town, exploring local shops and soaking in the charming atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making May such a memorable month. We look forward to more wonderful experiences in the days to come!

We had an incredible turnout for our Volunteer Appreciation Celebration, and we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers! Our volunteer contributions make a significant difference in our community, and we are truly grateful.

We enjoyed a delightful light breakfast and refreshing beverages together, creating a warm atmosphere filled with smiles. A special shout-out to Mary Kott, our Front Porch Volunteer Experience Manager, who shared inspiring insights and stories about the impact of volunteer contributions.
