This type of muscle contraction is known as an eccentric muscle contraction. And because it places a lot of strain on the hamstrings, this can lead to a pulled hamstring.

Taking the first steps in the morning shouldn’t be a pain! 👣

Pain on the bottom of your heel with the first few steps is a characteristic of plantar fasciitis.

Here are the three things to do for the pain:

1. Adjustments and manual therapy to the joints and fascia of the foot help to normalize the function of the joints and decrease tightness in the tissues

2. Gentle stretching of the plantar fascia helps to reduce the irritation

3. Therapeutic taping helps to decrease plantar fascia pain
