Our Story
At Uniquely Fit Medical Weight Loss & Wellness Center in Chula Vista, California, board-certified obesity physician, Latisa Carson, MD, and her weight loss team love nothing more than helping patients achieve their weight goals and improving their health. After earning her medical degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, Dr. Carson completed her internship at LA County King-Drew Medical Center, now known as the Martin Luther King Jr. Outpatient Medical Center, in Willowbrook, California. She then went on to complete her residency training at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Dr. Carson is an OB/GYN and is board-certified in obesity medicine and is a member of the Obesity Medical Association.
