Good Morning!
We have some exciting news to share, please help us welcome Mrs. Rachel Qaisieh APRN to our PGOA -Church Point Clinic family. Rachel and I have worked together in the Emergency Room for 15 years, until we both decided to further our education and become Nurse Practioners. She will be seeing our adult patients and she will also be helping with my over flow on days that my schedule is full and on also Fridays. Her official start date is May 19th. We are all very excited to have her, she is knowledgeable and dependable but most of all she is very caring and kind and will treat you like her own family!

As we recognize Autism Acceptance Month, I would like to encourage parents to keep their child’s wellness visits. Wellness visits offer multiple screenings for early detection which can benefit the child overall!

Good morning.
I want to give you an update about what is going on next door with our adult clinic. To any of my parents or any other adults in the community who saw Anecia, I want to apologize for the inconvenience that Anecia's abrupt departure may have caused you. Sam the nurse practitioner from our Crowley office has been filling in for us until our permanent replacement comes at the end of March. Sam will still be at our Church Point office one or two days a week but for the most part he is back at his Crowley office and he can help you with any needs you may have and even do a telemedicine if Crowley is too far, until Rachel arrives.
At the end of March the beginning of April Rachel Qaisieh APRN will be joining our practice and she will be the adult nurse practitioner next door. She will also take my overflow on days where my schedule is full and on Friday's when I am off. Rachel and I used to work in the ER at Lafayette General together for many years. She is a great Nurse and NP and very knowledgeable. Some of you may recognize her because she did her clinicals with me here in my office. She is very caring and just a great person all around.
So please hang tight, we do have some relief coming and once again I do apologize for this inconvenience.
