Ms. Vicki had an infection, resulting in an extensive hospital stay. When she arrived at the Road Home Therapy Center, she was experiencing increased pain and only able to get around via a wheelchair. Ms. Vicki was very motivated to return home in a short period of time and worked hard through her pain. Ms. Vicki worked with Therapy Center’s skilled therapy team to perform exercises and functional tasks that focused on increasing independence with dressing tasks, increasing ambulation with an assistive device, performing household chores, and performing tasks outside of the home. We are proud to share that within a month, Ms. Vicki was able to return home using a rolling walker and increased independence! Way to go!

Today we came together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Our Veterans were treated to delicious plate lunches, sweet treats, and special gifts as a small way of showing our love and appreciation for their service and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙@
