A final thought as you head into the new year-
Remember to get your horse regularly evaluated EVEN WHEN THINGS ARE GOING WELL!

Long term health and soundness rely on the early detection of issues, while they are still small, rather than a recovery mission when the issue has started to affect multiple body systems.

Having various professionals - think vet, body worker, farrier, etc- see your horse throughout the year can help bring to light subtle changes that you may not see in the day to day

When you are working through soundness and training issues with your horse, it is very easy to focus on the most peripheral signs and symptoms.
It is essential to remember to consider THE WHOLE HORSE!
Having a regularly scheduled app in with your bodyworker adds valuable information about your horse’s overall condition and can help detect minor changes before the become catastrophic!
