🍁🎃 HealthiER Fall Fest at Physicians Premier Potranco 🎃🍁

Thank you to all the amazing families who joined us at our annual Fall Fest! We loved celebrating the season with our wonderful community and creating special memories together.

A big shoutout to Radiant Balloon Designs for the stunning custom fall-inspired photo backdrop, the perfect spot to capture those festive moments! 📸🍂

The pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating station were a big hit with the kids (and adults!), and A Twist Of All Trades LLC wowed us with their incredible face painting skills! 🎨🎃

We also enjoyed some delicious fall treats, including:

Physicians Premier leadership including Governing Board members Dr. Martin Grieme and Dr. David Kenyon, CEO Teri Cardenas, Regional Marketing Director Ali Brummett, HR Director Martha Moreno, and Nurse Managers Diana Vidal and Kris Segura had the honor of attending the 2025 Corpus Christi Independent School District State of the District event!
We were inspired by keynote speaker Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez as he shared the exciting vision for our district’s future.
We were also joined by a special guest at our table, Mary Carroll High School Principal, Robert Arredondo, making the experience even more memorable.
To top it off, surprise performances by talented CCISD theater and art students brought extra energy and creativity to the event! 🎭🎨

This week, we continue to honor the incredible emergency nurses who serve on the front lines of care every single day. Our Chief Nursing Officer, Allison Apple, had the privilege of personally thanking our outstanding nurses and nurse managers at our Calallen, Saratoga, and Parkdale ERs and what a joy it was to recognize their unwavering commitment.

To each and every nurse: thank you for living out our mission with compassion, courage, and excellence. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. You are the heartbeat of our organization and we are truly grateful for you.

We are ecstatic to kick off Emergency Nurses Week by celebrating the incredible nurses who make Physicians Premier Emergency Room the compassionate, high-quality care provider our communities trust.

Our Chief Nursing Officer, Allison Apple, and our HR Director, Martha Moreno, began the week with a heartfelt visit to Physicians Premier Portland, where they recognized the outstanding dedication of our nursing staff. The celebration continued at our Cinco Ranch, Bryan, Cibolo, and Potranco ERs, spreading appreciation, gratitude, and joy.

To every one of our nurses: thank you for selflessly dedicating your time, energy, and heart to our mission. You are the backbone of our care, and we are beyond grateful for each of you, not just this week, but every single day of the year. 💖

🌴💙 Islander Fam Fest Fun! 💙🌴
Physicians Premier was proud to be a sponsor of Islander Fam Fest during Islander Family Weekend at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi! 🎉

Come celebrate Physicians Premier Cibolo's 6 year anniversary from 6 pm to 8 pm. We are tackling the flu with free flu shots for ages 5 and up! Tonight we will also have Chick-fil-A sandwiches, treats, giveaways and a chance to win awesome raffle prizes!

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence for our Parkdale ER Nurse Manager Kris Segura🎉

Please join us in congratulating Kris on an incredible 10-year milestone with Physicians Premier! 🙌

Kris began his journey with us at our Saratoga location, quickly becoming a valued team member known for his reliability and commitment. He played a vital role in the opening of our Parkdale ER, and in 2022, was promoted to Nurse Manager, a role in which he has truly thrived.

Kris is the definition of dependable. He consistently follows through on every commitment and sets a strong example of accountability for his entire team. His leadership style is not only effective but approachable, creating an environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and motivated to contribute.

His positive energy is contagious, inspiring those around him to aim higher while keeping team morale strong. Working under his leadership is both empowering and motivating, and it's no surprise he’s regarded as one of the most respected leaders across Physicians Premier.

💜 Last Saturday, our Physicians Premier ER Cinco Ranch and our partner Republic EMS, LTD. team participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Many of us walked for loved ones, friends, and neighbors impacted by this disease, while others walked simply to support the cause and our community. We’re proud to stand alongside Katy and Cinco Ranch families in raising awareness and hope for a future without Alzheimer’s. 💜

Physicians PremiER was a table sponsor of the Garden of Hope Gala at the Solomon Ortiz Center benefiting the Children's Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend. To understand the depths of the problem in our community, the first speaker included a heart wrenching testimonial from a mom and her daughter who utilized the children's advocacy center after her daughter was abused.

The keynote speaker featured a powerful message from Elizabeth Smart, who was kidnapped and assaulted in 2002. Thanks to our guest Riki Graves with Methodist Houston for joining. We loved having so many community VIPs visit our Physicians PremiER table reminding us of the amazing generosity and support we are blessed with in the Coastal Bend.

Summer has depleted the pantry at RACAP (Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program) and they are in desperate need of:
canned soups, cereal, canned fruit, meat helpers, ramen and shampoo
You can drop off your donations at their offices at 307 Pfeill St in Schertz, Monday - Friday 1pm - 3pm OR their 24 hour dropoff locations at Physicians Premier Emergency Room in Cibolo or Schertz Cibolo Emergency Clinic on FM3009.

Physicians Premier Cibolo was honored to be the First Aid sponsors for the first year that Malcolm Brown Football Camp and City of Cibolo Cibolo Summer Nights came together for one special community event. Lead Patient Service Representative Barb Baker and ER Nurse Daniel Coburn enjoyed talking with employees about our no-wait high quality emergency care that we provide. We also loved hearing from former patients who had great experiences in our ER.

Physicians Premier Cibolo is pleased to share their new Chapliancy program led by Pastor John Minton and his team from Everyday Christian Fellowship. This addition reflects our commitment to holistic care and acknowledges the diverse needs of those we serve.
Our chaplain will be available for patients and staff to offer confidential support, guidance, and comfort to individuals and families facing various life challenges, including illness, grief, stress, and other personal difficulties.

We are grateful for the church's commitment to our program. We were delighted to be able to give back to their congregation. Our ER donated volleyballs and basketballs for their youth program. We were also able to supply snacks and drinks for their upcoming summer vacation Bible school camp. We hope our donations bring an abundance of joy to the young children and teens.

We are always ready to care for the community when they need us the most! Physicians Premier Cibolo humbly served the volunteers of the Love Where You Live-Schertz spring event. We are grateful to be able to help realize their mission to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to our neighbors in need by connecting volunteers from local churches and other community organizations to assist with the maintenance and repairs of their homes. We were also ecstatic to see Schertz Mayor Ralph Gutierrez supporting the event. We are looking forward to the next event in the fall!
