If pelvic floor muscle tension is the issue...
- Try deep belly breathing prior to insertion
- Daily child's pose or happy baby to relax your pelvic floor
- Foam roll your inner thighs and glutes
If pelvic floor muscle weakness is the issue...
- Practice pelvic floor coordination (ideally with the guidance of a PT)
- Once coordination is under control, add glute, hip and core strengthening into your routine
Your cup may be the wrong fit for you...
- Try a bigger or smaller size
- Try a different brand
