It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman Dale Riley, who was born on November 8, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, and passed away on September 7, 2025. Norman was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, remembered for his humor, compassion, courage, and unwavering love for his family. A retired Carmel firefighter of 20 years, he was honored as Fireman of the Year three times and earned multiple merit awards for his service and bravery. Beyond his career, Norman was a man of faith and a beloved presence in his community whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Teresa Kay Clark, who was born on March 7, 1955, in Monmouth, IL, and went to rest on July 27 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN. Teresa’s life was marked by faith, love, and service, touching hearts in the many places she lived and served, from Arcadia, Indiana, to Rwanda and Egypt. A devoted wife to Ron, loving mother to Aaron and Rachel, and cherished grandmother, aunt, and friend, she poured her heart into her family, church, and community. Her unwavering faith, joyful spirit, and genuine care for others leave a lasting legacy of love that will be deeply missed.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Cody Russel Campbell, who left us unexpectedly on August 6, 2025. Born on November 22, 1989, in Noblesville, Indiana, Cody was a gifted craftsman, a devoted father, and a man whose generosity knew no bounds. He poured his heart into his carpentry work, his business, and most importantly, his family, creating a legacy of love, hard work, and compassion. Cody’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his children, loved ones, and all who were blessed to know him.

We are saddened to share the passing of Jerry Wayne Henry, lovingly known as “Hank,” “Dad Jerry,” or “Coach,” who left us peacefully on July 26, 2025. A proud Army veteran, skilled carpenter, and devoted husband of 63 years to the late Gerry Henry, Jerry lived a life full of love, hard work, and humor. From his days as a medic and athlete in Hawaii to building a respected career in construction back home, he left a lasting legacy. Hartley Funeral Home is honored to care for James "Jim" Blazier and his family during their time of loss. Jim departed this life on July 30, 2025, at the age of 88. A devoted husband of 67 years, Jim was known for his strong work ethic, deep faith, and love for family, farming, and the Indianapolis Colts. He was a proud Chrysler retiree, Sunday School teacher, and Deacon whose hands built both machines and church walls. His memory lives on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Sue, his children, grandchildren, and the many lives he touched.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Daugherty, age 86, on July 21st. Born in rural Kentucky, Bob rose from humble beginnings to become a legendary photojournalist with the Associated Press, covering historic moments from the White House to the Olympics across a 43-year career. He was a mentor, leader, and storyteller whose work and character left a lasting impression on journalism and everyone who knew him. Bob is remembered for his wit, warmth, and unwavering integrity. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the stories he helped the world see.

Hartley Funeral Home is honored to care for Ronald Miller and his family at their time of loss. Ron built a distinguished career in banking, beginning in Clinton County and rising through the ranks at American National Bank in Noblesville to become president, guiding the bank through a major acquisition before retiring in 1990. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, he remained active on advisory boards and was deeply committed to his community. Outside of banking, Ron had a lifelong passion for farming, working alongside his family to maintain and improve their land. He also served on several civic and educational boards and was a devoted member and treasurer of Omega Christian Church.
