We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our amazing nurses and member of our Cottage family. If you knew Robin, you knew she was an amazing, hardworking, and dedicated nurse, who went above and beyond to take care of our residents. Robin was committed to her profession, and we could not be more grateful for her and her time spent with us.

Our condolences go out to her family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Robin.

Happy birthday to one of our very own special residents! 110 years of experience, memories, friendship, love and kindness. 110 years of milestones and history making events.

Last year, you may have seen Gertrude on the news for her 109th. This year, we celebrated her in her Cottage home surrounded by her loved ones, including her nursing, rehab and administrative family. We are grateful to be apart of her 110 years.

This year we celebrated National Wear Red Day here at The Cottages! In addition, we are celebrating the 2025 Syracuse Heart Walk Lifesaver Day (Today, Feb 7th).
Some of our beautiful, heart healthy staff (and residents) wore red today in support! We strive to bring recognition to the community of Lifesavers while raising awareness for heart disease and its prevention.
Together, along with our partners at Crouse and SEIU, we can walk and raise money for a great cause. On March 30th we at The Cottages will be taking part in the 2025 Syracuse Heart Walk, and we hope to see you there as a part of our team. Follow the instructions to donate and be a part of our team! We ❤️ heart health!!!

What a wonderful day we had!!!
Last week one of our lovely residents’ friends and family put on a car show for us! Residents from all cottages were able to come outside with our staff and see these beautiful cars!
Beautiful days like these are what we love most at the Cottages.

🚨FUN FACT FRIDAY🚨

Each cottage has a beautiful patio for our residents and families to enjoy the summer sun! When weather is below 85 degrees, head on out and have lunch, soak in the sun or hang out with friends!!

Today is our first FUN FACT FRIDAY!!!

Did you know CGG is a 140 bed facility and all residents have their own private room and bathroom! Our “rehab” houses have 12 rooms and a therapy gym (to be seen in an upcoming post), while our long term houses have 13 rooms!
