Skyline Optometry is owner operated and has served the community for over 50 years! The practice began operations in the Skyline Building on James Street in downtown Syracuse in 1964 and moved to its current location in North Syracuse in 1985. Skyline Optiometry is a small practice which utilizes state of the art equipment and emphasizes personalized, caring service of the highest quality to each patient. Routine eye examinations and contact lens fittings, along with evaluations and treatment for pink eye, dry eye, floaters, cataracts, glaucoma, detection of diabetic eye complications, eye injuries and most other ocular diseases are provided by optometrists Dr. Joseph Morra, Dr. Christine Joy, and Dr. Dana Mitchell. Our latest technology includes computerized visual acuity screens, anterior segment photography, retinal photography, optical coherence tomography, and Zeiss visual fields analyzer. Access to this technology allows our doctors to diagnose and treat eye conditions and manage eye disease at a high level of care. Eyeglass fittings are provided by our licensed ophthalmic dispensers to ensure the best fit, comfort and quality.
