Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Center at Cincinnati Children's

A dedicated center within Cincinnati Children's to provide specialized care and support to adolescents and young adults living with cancer.

The Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Center at Cincinnati Children's aims to provide specialized care and support for adolescents and young adults living with cancers and leukemia. Important recent research studies show that adolescents and young adults with cancers and leukemia need special treatment and care, because they respond to therapy and have risks for side effects that are different whe

n compared to older adults or small children. Cincinnati Children’s cancer program has a longstanding experience in the treatment of these patients, and our oncology faculty members are leaders in research in adolescent and young adult cancers. Our mission is to provide leading-edge oncology and stem cell transplant care, with an eye towards age-appropriate and peer-to-peer support to meet the unique needs and challenges of adolescents and young adults with cancer whose lives have become even more complicated.
