Today, TriHealth is celebrating national "Thank a Resident Day"! The resident physician training program at TriHealth has a long established history of preparing the next generation of physicians for changing the world of healthcare. TriHealth has over 130 residents and fellows from across the United States and around the globe, learning from the distinguished faculty across our medical network. Their passion, innovation, diversity, and dedication to our patients and community helps to carry our organization into the future.

There are 32 OB/GYN resident physicians in the program! In the Obstetric (OB) and Gynecology (GYN) specialties, the residents work closely with attending physicians and specialists, nurses, radiologists, surgical staff, therapists, dieticians, and many other team members throughout the hospital and outpatient settings. On any given day, our resident team may be found teaching simulations, in surgery, caring for pregnant patients in labor and delivery, providing care in our OB GYN Centers, studying and testing, developing innovative research, attending or presenting at conferences, and many, many other activities to bring you and our community the best care! WHEW, that's A LOT!!

So today, we take a moment to say "THANKS"! Thank you for your dedication to medicine, for growing and learning along with us, and providing the best care for our community to create many healthy tomorrows!

*Check out some fun pictures of our residents in action on this post. Feel free to share some appreciation in the comments!
