At Simply Well Chiropractic, we are stepping into 2026 with a quiet, steady promise to be a place where you can rest, your nervous system can soften, and your hope can grow.

This practice is more than an adjustment. It is a place where we see you as a whole person, with grocery lists in your heads, stories in your spine, and courage in your heart. You are not just a chart or a diagnosis; your life is unfolding, and we want to be a steady part of it. We promise to be a place that helps you breathe easier, take a few burdens off your shoulders, and give you a little light in the rest of your day.

Each day is supposed to be a promise, but sometimes that promise feels hopeless or slow. And in those days, we will hold the long view for you, remind you that we can all take small steps forward and that we’re all in this thing together. We promise to be a place where you are welcomed as you are, cared for with tenderness and skill, and supported in becoming who you are still, beautifully, on your way to being. Most people think "exercise" is about burning calories. But for your spine, movement is about feeding time.

Your spinal discs are unique—they are avascular, meaning they have no blood supply of their own to deliver nutrients. Think of your discs like a wet kitchen sponge. 🧽

If you leave a wet sponge on the counter, it dries out and gets stiff.

To get fresh water in, you have to squeeze it and release it.

This process is called imbibition. When you move, you pump waste out and suck fresh nutrients in.

Modern life is forcing us into a permanent "C" shape. We curl up in bed, sit in car bucket seats, hunch over keyboards, and look down at phones. This constant forward bending (flexion) squeezes the front of your discs and stretches your ligaments until they experience "creep"—physically deforming and losing stability.

The Fix: The "20-for-1" Rule
For every 20 minutes you sit, you owe your spine 1 minute of standing extension.

Stand up.

Reach your arms high.

Gently lean backward.

Why It Works:
