Been quiet over here in the online yoga realm, but I’m happily still plunking away at my own practice and teaching these amazing high school humans!

They keep me on my toes and share what it’s like to be a teen in 2026. Grateful to yoga with them weekly. 🙏🏼

We had a great finale to our Acting Adventures with Yoga class at 🎭

The K-2nd students shared with parents and friends their mindful listening skills, a Sun Salutation and we performed the story book: Anna and her Rainbow Colored Yoga Mats!

It’s a joy to see the children’s leadership and creativity come alive; wether it’s learning to project their voice, look out onto an audience or help someone with a line, the small bits matter. Thank you for organizing the programming!

Last week in ✨Align & Shine ✨:

After some lessons and discussions on Ahimsa (translating to ‘do no harm’) our class realized how hard they’ve been on themselves. We created mirror reminders to flip the script if our mind starts to spiral into negativity!

Apparently it’s not cool to compliment yourself, but they were excited to complete the assignment!

A great morning with the kids in the Acting Adventures in Yoga program! It’s great to see little leaders shine guiding the group in a silly sun salutation and also we were able to step inside an animal and share that portrayal with our class 🎭🙏🏼🧘

Admittedly I had no idea if this new age group, 12-14 year old girls, would embrace an extended savasana like the high schoolers ~ turns out, they can do the full practice with only minimal giggles and fully await the deep rest! We’ve had a great few classes getting to know each other through journaling and going head first into learning the asanas (poses) within a flow 🙏🏼
