Saturday at 1 PM, we’re back.

The Black Men’s Support Group is meeting this weekend, and if life has been feeling heavy, frustrating, or just 'off,' this is a space where you don’t have to carry it alone.

A lot of us were taught to push through, stay quiet, and handle things on our own. But the truth is, healing happens in connection. Sometimes just being in a room with other men who get it can shift more than you expect.

Whether you’ve been coming consistently or you’ve been thinking about pulling up for the first time, this is your invitation.

Brothers,

There’s a lot that Black men are expected to carry — silently, confidently, without breaking stride. Work stress. Relationship strain. Fatherhood. Loneliness. Anger. Faith questions. The pressure to always “have it together.”

Tomorrow at 1 PM, we create space to put some of that weight down.

Our Black Men’s Support Group is not therapy-lite. It’s not a lecture. It’s a room where men speak honestly, listen deeply, and challenge one another to grow. We talk about emotional regulation, relationships, identity, purpose, and the stuff we were never taught how to name.

This men’s support group is a space to start the year by:

Building meaningful connections with other men
Reconnecting with yourself emotionally and mentally
Talking honestly about stress, relationships, fatherhood, and life transitions
Developing healthier ways to cope and show up in your life

You don’t have to carry everything alone.
Connection is part of the work.

The holidays can be a lot. Joy, stress, reflection, pressure, and memories all tend to show up at the same time.

Our Black Men’s Mental Health Support Group will meet on Saturday, 12/20/25. Even in the midst of the holiday season, we’re creating space to reconnect, check in with ourselves, and support one another as we mentally prepare for the year ahead.

This final meeting of the year is an opportunity to pause, reflect on what this year has held, and think intentionally about how you want to step into the new year. You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up.

Meet Dr. Josalyn Foster at Psychworks!

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Josalyn Foster, Ph.D., our newest clinician at Psychworks Clinic! She brings a warm, thoughtful, and culturally conscious approach to therapy — blending evidence-based care with real-life insight.

Dr. Foster works with children through adults, with a special focus on supporting girls, women, and families navigating life transitions, identity shifts, or emotional challenges. She creates space to feel grounded, seen, and supported.

Psychworks is now accepting new clients in-person at our Sharonville office or via telehealth.
