What a spooktacular day at the Wellington! 🎃

Staff at the Vista took their time this week to carve and decorate pumpkins for a chance to take home the grand prize, which was graciously donated by Abode Care Partners! The residents had a chance to check out the pumpkins, talk with friends and staff, and vote on the winner. Great job to everyone who participated!

We had such a great time at Bingo last Wednesday with our residents and visitors, lots of laughs, friendly competition, and even a few happy shouts of “BINGO!” followed by live music!😄💛

We host them every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:30 PM for those over 55!

Just a few days later, Billy celebrated his 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends. The celebration was filled with laughter and plenty of birthday cake. He often shared these fond memories, so the team knew exactly what would make the perfect Tree of Dreams by bringing him back to the farm! The Waterford at Round Rock worked with resident Becky’s daughter to give her the surprise of a lifetime by restoring their family car, a 1965 Ford Mustang. Filled with memories of family vacations and drives with her late husband, Becky’s eyes filled with tears. The moment she saw the fully restored Mustang, she was overcome with emotion and gratitude. What a beautiful gift and a reminder of cherished memories!
