🍁🎉 OUR VISTA FALL FEST WAS UN-BE-LEAF-ABLY AWESOME! 🎉🍁

We bounced, crafted, and snuggled every adorable animal in the petting zoo, and jammed out to live music that was truly a-maize-ing. 🎶🌽

Between the cookies, hot cider, popcorn, cotton candy, and enough crafts to glue our fingers together forever, we were basically living our best autumn lives. 🍪🍂☕️✨
(If joy had calories, the bounce house definitely worked them off.)

✨ We were honored to host the The Association for Professionals in Aging at The Vista yesterday! ✨

They invited St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati to share information about their incredible Charitable Pharmacy program and wow, was it enlightening! 💜

We enjoyed coffee, snacks, and great conversation in our brand-new theater while learning more about how we can better support people in need. One of the most eye-opening parts of the discussion was learning about the process for donating unopened, unused medications so they can be redistributed to help others. Such valuable information!

A huge thank-you to both APA and St. Vincent de Paul for bringing this wonderful and informative event to The Vista. We’re grateful for the partnership and excited for more opportunities to serve our community! 💙✨

Anna often dreamed of returning to her homeland of Germany. The Good Tree team saw how deeply she was connected to her German roots, so they decided to bring a piece of Germany to her. They prepared goulash and other traditional German dishes, creating a festive atmosphere filled with warmth and nostalgia. Residents and staff gathered to celebrate Anna’s heritage, sharing stories and learning more about German customs.

Autumn Glen celebrated the 70th wedding anniversary of Bill and Mary Lou this week. It was a big week for Billy, a resident of The Waterford at Mesquite. In honor of Father’s Day, the local mayor visited the community to recognize Billy as the oldest father living in Mesquite! Just a few days later, Billy celebrated his 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends. The celebration was filled with laughter and plenty of birthday cake. Billy’s milestone serves as an inspiration to everyone in the community.

John, a Magnolia Trails resident at Georgetowne Place, grew up on a farm and spent his childhood driving tractors and milking cows. He often shared these fond memories, so the team knew exactly what would make the perfect Tree of Dreams by bringing him back to the farm! The Waterford at Round Rock worked with resident Becky’s daughter to give her the surprise of a lifetime by restoring their family car, a 1965 Ford Mustang. Filled with memories of family vacations and drives with her late husband, Becky’s eyes filled with tears. The moment she saw the fully restored Mustang, she was overcome with emotion and gratitude. What a beautiful gift and a reminder of cherished memories!
