Tammy Jomphe Needs a Kidney Tammy desperately needs a living kidney donor. Please consider being tested and/or share this page. Time is not on our side. Imagine if it was your mom.

Our Mom, Tammy Jomphe, is in stage 5 kidney failure from having kidney disease. Over time, her kidney disease has gotten worse causing her kidneys to not work well enough to keep her alive. She has started hemodialysis and will continue to do that until we can find her a match. There are currently 100,000+ people on the waiting list for a deceased donor like her. I am not asking you to donate your kidney, just to share this post in hopes that someone who is a living donor will see this post. I understand that living donation may not be right for everyone, so I ask that you please share this post. What wouldnโ€™t you do to save your momโ€™s life, to keep her around for as long as possible? Mom had surgery this week to switch to hemodialysis because something leaked into her lungs and she was unable to breath. After a week in the hospital, she is back home!
