This is the part most people don’t see.
A chemical peel is a controlled process of skin renewal. In the days that follow, the skin may feel tight, dry, and begin to peel as surface skin cells peel away.
This phase can look different for everyone, depending on the individual and the peel selected. What matters most is understanding that this is a normal and expected part of the skin renewal process.
In this case, by the end of the first week, peeling is largely complete.
In the weeks that follow, the results continue to emerge — smoother texture, more even tone, and healthier-appearing skin.
