There is an old adage which says - The single, most indispensable person you need in running any home is the Cook. For all of us residing and working at Brookwood, we have known this for a long time, especially as we've been particularly blessed to have one of the best in the business on our side. She is our very own Virginia “Ginny” Fitzgerald, seen here standing to Chef Jeff's left. For Twenty-Four Years, Ginny has been slinging the pots and pans putting out a superb and timely breakfast. In fact, a person can count on just two hands how many days Ginny has missed in the last 24 years. She is among the elite when it comes to not only showing up and getting the job done; but also when it comes to elevating everybody’s day with her superb attitude and disposition. Thank you Ginny for being not only a great cook, but a fantastic human being as well!

When the annals of Brookwood Retirement Community are finally written, there is no-one who will fill up more of its pages and be able to recite more of its stories than its longest, most dedicated and hard-working of employees, Faye Estepp. Please join me in wishing Faye a happy Anniversary by letting her know that for each of her 44 years, we celebrate her with an equal number of our most heartfelt praise and gratitude. I, for one, can say that I've learned a lot from Faye, and her assistance always manages to make the Human Resource parties and occasions a whole lot better. Thank you Faye for teaching me how to lay out the Christmas Bark! :) And thank you even more for all you have taught, all you have done, and all you continue to do for the staff and residents of Brookwood Retirement Community.
