This training invites participants to critically examine how culture, power, and history shape the ethical foundations of the healing professions. By moving beyond Western-centric models, participants will explore culturally grounded frameworks that honor ancestral knowledge, community values, and lived experience. Through case-based learning and reflective dialogue, the session equips practitioners to navigate complex ethical dilemmas in diverse settings while centering justice, equity, and relational accountability. Attendees will strengthen their capacity for ethical reflexivity and cultivate practices that restore trust, dignity, and cultural wisdom in clinical care.✨

​💍 Attended the 3rd Annual Fatherhood Revisited Behavioral Health Bling Everything Gala, honoring the impact of caregivers in the community and seeing youth see themselves as glamorous.

🌟 Attended the 8th Annual Guiding Light Mentoring Igniting Future Leaders Gala, celebrating those inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

🧩 Facilitated two impactful trainings with Multiethnic Advocates for Cultural Competence (MACC) to build trauma-informed, compassionate communities.

✨Each experience reinforced my belief that healing is both personal and collective. We rise by doing this work together.✨

Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, an opportunity to honor the strength and wisdom that has sustained Indigenous communities for centuries.

Indigenous people face significant barriers to mental health care, often living in areas with a shortage of mental health providers. In fact, only about 1% of psychologists in the U.S. are Indigenous.

Let today serve as a reminder to listen, learn, and support the ongoing efforts toward collective wellness and justice.
