Motherhood & Mental Health has launched the the Dear Womb Project.

The is a social media campaign aimed to bring awareness to the many mental health and social delimmas surrounding Black Motherhood. The goal is to normalize these vital discussions while also fostering a safe space for Black women to share their experiences. Black women can join the by writing a letter to their womb and sharing it on your social media platform. Please use the hashtag and tag (on instagram). You can be creative and create a reel, status, video etc. You DO NOT need to be a mother to join the .

While it may be hard to believe mental health services are not accessible to everyone. There are even individuals with health insurance but unfortunately do not have the benefit of mental health services. Finances should not determine your healing journey. Ohio Mental Health Matters seeks to eliminate this burden and barrier for our neighbors.



We want to raise funds for individuals, couples or families who do not have health insurance benefits so that they may still engage in therapy services. Dialogue around mental health is slowly moving away from a taboo topic. As the conversation continues to shift, Ohio Mental Health Matters would like to be a resource to those who are seeking care but are not able to do so.
