excited to announce two new classes i’ll be teaching at sept - oct! details below:

★ drama! is a dance fitness class catered to the LGBT community. think club classics + cunty choreography. you do not have to be a dancer! it is a fun way to be in community + get a workout. e/o tues 6-7 pm. dates are sept 3, sept 17, oct 1, oct 15, and oct 29. bring water + come prepared to sweat 💦 💦 💦

★ kundalini meditation is an active meditation following the same structure each week: 10 min shaking, 10 min free moving, 10 min standing meditation, 10 min co**se pose. though i will be providing structure, the movement itself is self guided and therefor accessible to all levels. classes will be e/o sat 12-1 pm. dates are sept 7, (off sept 21, potential for makeup if desired), oct 5, and oct 19. bring water, a yoga mat, and come prepared to shed 🍂🍂🍂🍂

★★ both classes are run on a drop in basis, sliding scale $5-$15, NOTAFLOF. classes are capped at 9 participants.

Posted • Love of this planet and all of its creatures is something I carry with me every single day. To truly make our collective experiences better requires education and action. Last month to celebrate pride in Cincinnati, and I joined forces with the to say NO to corporate greed, confronting in their headquarter city to expose their corrupt practices which devastate communities and destroy rainforests in the Pargamanan-Bintang Maria community of Sumatra Indonesia.

Procter & Gamble (one of Cincinnati Pride’s biggest sponsors) pretends to care about the LGBTQ+ community through rainbow-washing and greenwashing tactics. But their continued oppression of Indigenous communities and ecosystems suggests otherwise & must come to a stop!

To join us, reshare this message and art, tag and divest from , and follow and to learn more about what they’re doing to combat and speak up about this destruction. Together we can hold corporations accountable and fight for justice, people and the planet.

This image shows a person called Adeline Abiad crossdressing, photographed by an unknown photographer in Haifa, Palestine, in the 1920s.

Haifa was taken over by Israel in 1948, 20-30 years after this photo was taken. The Battle of Haifa was a Zionist paramilitary operation carried out on 21st–22nd April 1948. The objective of the operation was the capture of the Arab neighbourhoods of Haifa. By mid-May 1948 only 4,000 from the pre-conflict population estimate of 65,000 Palestinian Arabs remained in the city.

I have been unable to find any information on Abiad’s life beyond this photograph.

After being displaced over 7 times, every day they are afraid of being forcibly evacuated yet again, unsure of what the next day will bring. Please show your love for Lilly this pride and help us relocate them to safety.

Who are we?
Trans Asylias is non-profit founded in 2021 to relocate trans asylum seekers to safe countries. We are founded and organized by Iman Le Caire, an Egyptian trans asylee living in NYC.

How can you help?
