Bengals Sam has officially been crowned the winner of our Dog Days of Summer Contest at Liberty Rehab Hospital! With his winning smile and Who Dey spirit, Sam stole the hearts (and likes!) of our entire community.

We had the pleasure of caring for Sue at Liberty Rehab hospital after she was admitted to The Christ Hospital Health Network with a femur fracture. While recovering, she worked hard to adapt to toe-touch weight bearing precautions and practiced daily to regain the skills she needed to safely return home. Sue was discharged this past Thursday and surprised our team with a kind note and some sweet treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Thank you Sue, we are cheering you on as you continue your recovery at home!

Check out these firework safety tips from The National Safety Council so that you can stay safe and enjoy the 4th festivities!

- Never use fireworks while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
- Anyone using fireworks or standing nearby should wear protective eyewear.
- Never light them indoors.
- Never throw or point fireworks at another person.
- Only light one device at a time and maintain a safe distance after lighting.
- Soak both spent and unused fireworks in water for a few hours before discarding.
- Keep a bucket of water nearby to fully extinguish fireworks that didn't go off or in case of a fire.
