Sisters of the Heart Network SOTH Network is committed to healing,empowering,educating and supporting Black Women so they may improve heart health, overall wellness and personal power.

Sisters of the Heart Inc was founded from the heart before it became an organzation. We are the 1st National organization dedicated solely to ending the epidemic of heart disease in women of color. This is a historic event.

# Women of color face the highest burden of heart disease in the Nation.

American women have the highest burden of heart disease in the nation in terms of education, resources,awareness, health status, disability, disparities in cardiovascular care , prevention and death. We are the the 1st National organization dedicated solely to ending the epidemic of heart disease in women of color globally through national affiliate meetings and online. We believe women of color are a natural resource worthy of conservation efforts. We help women create workable solutions to keep their heart health first or when the old just wouldn't work. We empower, educate and celebrate the whole woman through positive messaging to make manageable lifestyle changes in their daily life style. We focus on the unique ways heart disease affects women of color. We assist all women of diverse backgrounds to reduce their heart health risks and wellness. We advocate on local,state and national levels bringing our perspectives both cultural and gender to the table,which is so often not heard. SOTH understands there are different routes to the same destination. We seek to expand heart health and Wellness programming and support in ways that are life changing for women and transforming for the world. Given our deep belief in women , communities and of heart disease in women of color . Along with our optimism about solutions for the problems. We act with high standards, urgency and compassion.
