Tonight’s BSN Open House was a huge success! Students and families gathered in The Christ Hospital auditorium to learn about our Christ Hospital partnership, the admissions process, financial aid, student resources, and the many pathways to earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Guests also heard directly from our Student Ambassador Panel during a lively Q&A session — getting an inside look at what it’s really like to be a nursing student at Christ College. 💬 👩🏻‍⚕️🧑🏽‍⚕️👩🏽‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

From campus tours and our fun photo booth to one lucky future nurse winning a $1,000 scholarship, it was an evening full of inspiration and excitement for the future of nursing.

Our Radiography Program is spreading warmth and kindness this season with the Sock & Shield Drive for oncology and radiation therapy patients!

We’re collecting new socks (non-skid bottoms preferred!) and knit beanies to help keep patients cozy during treatment.

🌟 Happy Rad Tech Week! 🌟

Today we celebrated our incredible Radiologic Technology students with a festive taco-bar luncheon 🌮 and inspiring guest speakers — Dr. Amy Wutke, Denise Brown, and Victoria Morrell! Victoria shared valuable résumé tips and interview advice to help students prepare for their bright futures in Radiography. 🩻

After lunch, students took a stroll down their very own Walk of Stars 🤩 — and our second-year students were paired with first-year mentees for a fun icebreaker to get to know each other!

What a great way to honor our future Rad Tech professionals during ! 💙

Please join us in congratulating Professor Debbie Savignano, our November Employee Spotlight winner! 💙

Debbie teaches Biology 102 and is the only full-time faculty member in the Medical Assisting Clinical Certificate program — a role she fulfills with unmatched dedication and enthusiasm. This semester, Debbie went above and beyond by stepping up to co-teach Biology 102 when an adjunct instructor was unable to continue.

Her commitment doesn’t stop there! Debbie also collaborated with the program director to revise the Biology 102 curriculum, leading to an incredible achievement — MACC biology scores are now above the national average! 📈👏

Students love Debbie for her passion, support, and kindness — qualities that make her an outstanding educator and colleague.

🌟 Student of the Week: Caleb Erickson 🌟

Congratulations to sophomore BSN student Caleb Erickson, nominated by Professor Mary Page Dalrymple from NUR 225: Health Assessment Across the Lifespan!

Caleb is making the most of studying on a hospital campus — working as a Patient Care Assistant at The Christ Hospital on 2 South while pursuing his nursing degree.

Professor Dalrymple shared:
“In just half a semester, Caleb has truly grown as a nursing student, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm for learning. He connects classroom lessons to his real-world experiences in meaningful ways and uplifts his peers with his positive attitude and curiosity.”

Caleb says he chose The Christ College because of its “small class sizes, affordability, and connection with The Christ Hospital.” He adds, “I feel like I’m learning a lot of practical and useful information.”

After graduation, Caleb hopes to become a nurse — inspired by “positive experiences I’ve had in healthcare” and by his sister and aunt, who are both nurses.

✨ Good morning from Professor Christen Lambert’s NUR 331 class! ✨

Today, students welcomed guest speaker Amber Siegel, who shared valuable insight into the community resources available to support individuals navigating anxiety, postpartum anxiety, alcohol addiction, and codependency.

It was a truly positive and engaging experience for our students! 💙

In nursing, our foundation is built on communication, relationship-building, and collaboration — and today’s discussion reinforced just how important those skills are in providing compassionate, holistic care.

🌟 Student of the Week: Eric Lamy, ABSN Class of Spring 2026! 🌟

We’re proud to recognize Eric Lamy, nominated by Jerilin Morris, Academics System Administrator/Business Analyst, for his incredible dedication and leadership within The Christ College community. Jerilin noted, “Eric consistently goes above and beyond to support both his peers and classroom community,” often bringing needed items from home and organizing study sessions to help everyone succeed. Jerilin added, “His initiative, resourcefulness, and commitment to helping others make him an outstanding role model.”

Eric chose The Christ College ABSN program for its “strong reputation for clinical excellence, supportive learning environment, and hands-on experience at one of the best hospitals in the region.” He shared, “From the moment I started, I’ve felt like I’m part of something special. The smaller class sizes and clinical opportunities have helped me grow both personally and professionally.”

Inspired by the compassion nurses showed his family during times of illness, Eric says, “I want to be that person for someone else — to bring comfort, hope, and expert care when it’s needed most.”
