Last year, we shared Janel’s powerful story—a young mother who, with support from Beech Acres’ Parent Enrichment Program, reunited with her 5-year-old daughter after a court-ordered separation.

Through one-on-one coaching, Janel gained parenting tools, emotional resilience, and the confidence to rebuild her family. Her daughter’s joyful words—“Mommy, you did it!”—still echo as a testament to the strength of love and guidance.

Social workers do more than home visits - they support our parents through the hard moments, celebrate family wins, and contribute to the wellness and development of the kiddos we serve. Our social workers are constantly seeking out resources and connections to match the needs of children in the community, like finding the right tutor for how a student learns best or building an individualized plan for growth.
