Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Greater Cincinnati

The American Cancer Society believes that all people deserve a fair and just opportunity to live a longer, healthier life free from breast cancer. The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has been an integral part of our community for the last 26 years. This event celebrates survivors and thrivers, and raises funds for lifesaving breast cancer research, advocacy, programs

, and services. Thanks in large part to decades of work and the dollars our community so generously donates, a breast cancer diagnosis does not come without hope, and the breast cancer journey is not one that has to be traveled alone. In 2022, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Greater Cincinnati raised $480,000 to continue the fight for a world free from breast cancer. It was a record-breaking year not only financially, but we also had over 15,000 people in attendance - the largest community gathering in Making Strides Cincinnati history! We also hosted our inaugural chip-timed 5k run as a part of Making Strides in 2022, which was executed with a resounding success with over 150 runners raising more than $10,000! We can’t end breast cancer with just hope. We can’t end breast cancer just by walking and running. We need you to help end breast cancer by taking action.
