Premiere Center for Health & Wellness was created in 2002 because it was apparent that many women are in need of services that fall outside of the realm of traditional gynecology, and as a result are not covered by insurance companies. Through Premiere Center for Health & Wellness, Linda Evans MD, Sally Lake RN, and nurse practitioners Jo Ann Videtto and Katie Roberts are able to provide non-traditional hormone replacement therapy, gynecology services, and minimally invasive cosmetic options. It’s that time of year! Sickness is everywhere, and we want to explain why it is so important to postpone your pellet insertion appointment if you are feeling sick.
Here is the breakdown:

Illness = inflammation = unpredictable hormone response
When you’re sick (infection, fever, even a bad cold), your body is in stress mode. Inflammation and stress hormones (like cortisol) can:
• Change how hormones are absorbed
• Alter how your receptors respond to estrogen/testosterone
• Make side effects more likely

Higher risk of complications
Being sick can slightly increase the risk of:
• Infection at the insertion site
• Poor wound healing
• More swelling, bruising, or prolonged soreness
• Pellet extrusion
Even a mild illness can impair immune response just enough to matter.

Bottom line..
Our providers recommend waiting until you’re fully recovered because:
• Your body handles hormones more predictably
• Dosing is more accurate
• Risks are lower

We are always happy to try and accommodate you if you need to reschedule!

Everyone, meet Charli 👋

Charli is a Medical Assistant who joined the practice in September and has been working in the healthcare field since 2023. She began her career as a State Tested Nursing Aide, where she built a strong foundation in patient-centered care, clinical communication, and hands-on support across diverse patient populations.

She is dedicated to providing high-quality care, supporting patients through each step of their treatment, and continuously expanding her clinical skills as she grows in the nursing profession.

We are pleased to share that hormone therapy for menopause will no longer carry a black box warning, announced by the Food and Drug Administration on Monday.

In the announcement and an accompanying editorial in the medical journal JAMA, FDA Commissioner Marty Makary and other agency officials said the warnings are based on outdated science and have discouraged women from taking hormone therapy.

In an interview, Makary said “We are going to stop the fear machine steering women away from this life-changing, even lifesaving, treatment, “The FDA is taking action to remove the black box warnings from estrogen-related products. This is based on a robust review of the latest scientific evidence.”

These thoughts and ideas are nothing new to our office, however we are pleased that this information is now being more widely spread. Dr. Evans has been dedicated to providing safe and effective hormone therapy since 2006. She was one of the first providers in the area to offer hormone pellet therapy and has actively participated in conferences and continuing education regarding women’s health and the overwhelming benefits of hormone therapy. Dr. Evans and all of us here at Premiere Center for Health and Wellness couldn’t be happier about spreading awareness about just how life-changing and SAFE hormone therapy is.

If you are interested in hormone therapy, we encourage you to reach out to our office at 513 985 0950 or visit our website at premierecenters.com for more information.

Help us send off Sophia! 👋🏼
Sophia joined Premiere Center during her gap year after graduating from Xavier University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. During her time here, she has worked as a medical assistant, gaining valuable experience in hormone replacement therapy and gynecology. Sophia is now taking the next step toward her dream of becoming a physician assistant and will be attending the University of the Cumberlands this August.
We’re sending her off in the sweetest way possible: with an ice cream sundae party! 🍦✨
Our team is so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and knowledge Sophia has shared with us and our patients.
We are so proud of Sophia and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in this exciting new chapter. 💙 We will miss you!!

Our Story

Premiere Center for Health & Wellness was created in 2002 because it was apparent that many women are in need of services that fall outside of the realm of traditional gynecology, and as a result are not covered by insurance companies. Through Premiere Center for Health & Wellness, Linda Evans MD, Sally Lake RN, and nurse practitioner Katie Roberts are able to provide non-traditional hormone replacement therapy, gynecology services, and minimally invasive cosmetic options. Why We’re Different ------------------------- With the vast number of gynecologists and hormone therapy experts in the area, many would ask, “Why should I choose Dr. Evans and her staff?” There are many reasons, but the most important is Dr. Evans’ personal approach to her patient’s healthcare. Having witnessed her father, a retired OB/GYN, and the strong value he placed on developing personal relationship with patients, Dr. Evans approaches her patient’s health needs based on more than the typical clinical resources. She takes pride in getting to know her patients from a personal perspective as well making sure their healthcare needs are met. Don’t be surprised if Dr. Evans and her staff recall details of your last visit, such as your hobbies or your child’s name, during your visit. Most importantly, patients have made their choice clear; to become a patient because of Dr. Evans’ compassionate and personal approach to their healthcare. Patients often comment on her contagious laugh and optimistic view on life.

We truly take the time to listen to your physical and emotional challenges and will work with you to address them. We recognize that each patient is a totally unique individual and we take pride in providing the highest quality of healthcare possible.
