Eugene was a staple here in our Cincinnati Home for many years. He and Betty Burris started our consignment shop, Chez Eugene, which they ran for almost 20 years prior to it being closed during the pandemic. He ran our Gift Shop, decorated the Home so beautifully for the Christmas holiday every year - the chapel, front lobby, and wherever else needed his touch. He was so friendly and helpful to anyone who needed him. Eugene was an amazing person and friend. We will certainly miss him.

We truly enjoyed holding our annual Remembrance Mass honoring all who passed away in the previous year. It was a beautiful service celebrating each resident with music, a reading of their name, the ringing of a bell and the lighting of a candle. Thank you to all who attended! 🕊️

Our dedicated, spiritual, gardening, spunky, 30+ year volunteer and friend of our Home and The Little Sisters, passed away in August. The family has already had a service, but she will be remembered at our Remembrance Mass in November here at our Home. Lucy volunteered in the kitchen, laundry, Activities, chapel, and outside gardening as well as Chez Eugene and decorating for the holidays, so much more. She is missed here by us all. Rest in peace, Lucy.
