Celebrating 1 month of marriage with residents Sarah LeMay, PGY-3 and Mario Giacobazzi, PGY-2! Many of us were fortunate to attend with our plus ones, and what a beautiful wedding it was. Thanks for allowing current residents and recent grads to join you for your big day! Congratulations Sarah and Mario!!

Every year, all of our 3rd years are sent to the Family Medicine Experience (FMX) to learn and connect with others in our field. We had a blast exploring Anaheim/Los Angeles and attending lectures in our individual areas of interest! We love that BFP values this experience and funds all 3rd year residents to attend regardless of rotation. Our PGY-2s can start looking forward to their experience in Nashville next year!

Friday night under the lights! TriHealth’s Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and faculty provide sideline coverage for several local high schools and colleges. BFP residents interested in sports medicine or the sports medicine fellowship are encouraged to join our sports medicine faculty and fellows for some hands on experience. Featured here are our sports faculty Dr. Goodale and Dr. Okragly, fellows Michael and Bridget, and current residents Mario, Matt, and Tyler!

Yesterday in place of our weekly lecture, we were able to get outside and serve our local community through People Working Cooperatively. We work with this organization at least annually to address challenges local residents have, as there is a lot of overlap with the social determinants of health that affect our patients. It was great to soak up some sunshine and work as a group as we got to know our new interns! We even discovered some hidden talents of our fellow residents, all while serving our community!
