Pregnancy Center West is seeking a highly organized Event Coordinator to plan and execute our three major 2026 fundraising events: the spring luncheon, annual banquet, and golf outing.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves event planning and wants to support a life-affirming, faith-based mission.

Gospel Reflection – Matthew 1:18–24

In today’s Gospel, we are invited into the quiet, hidden moment before Christmas—the moment when God asks Joseph to trust. Joseph’s plans for his life are suddenly changed, and he is faced with confusion, fear, and uncertainty. Yet it is precisely here that God is at work.

The angel’s message to Joseph is simple but profound: “Do not be afraid.” God is not absent from the unexpected or the difficult. Instead, He enters into it. Through Joseph’s obedience, Jesus enters the world not with power or spectacle, but through humility, faith, and love.

Joseph does not speak a single word in this Gospel, but his actions speak loudly. He listens, believes, and responds. In doing so, he becomes a guardian of life and a protector of God’s promise.

As we approach Christmas, this Gospel reminds us that God often comes quietly, asking for our trust. When we say yes—like Joseph—God brings hope, salvation, and new life into the world.

May we, too, be open to God’s gentle guidance, trusting that Emmanuel—God with us—is present in every circumstance.
