🎉 FIRST BABY SAVED — Hempstead, NY!

We didn’t have to wait long for the first life saved at a 40 Days for Life vigil.

A woman preparing to take the abortion pill chose LIFE after speaking with a sidewalk counselor and visiting a pregnancy center.

Prayer works. Presence saves lives. 🙏

Lent is often described as a season of sacrifice. We give up sweets, coffee, social media, or other comforts as a way of remembering Christ’s sacrifice for us. We practice discipline so our hearts can be drawn closer to Him.

But Lent is not only about what we give up.

It is also about what we give.

It is a season of repentance — yes — but also a season of generosity. A season of softening our hearts toward God and toward others. A season where we intentionally choose love in action.

This Lent, we are reminded that sacrifice makes space.

When we give something up, we create room — room for prayer, for reflection, for compassion. And what if we filled that space by giving life, hope, and support to women and families in need?

We have been blessed by an anonymous donor who has committed $2,000 as a matching gift for this Lenten season. That means every dollar given will be doubled — up to $2,000 —multiplying the impact for the mothers and babies we serve.

Each week, our chastity educators serve students in Archdiocesan schools through The Body Matters Program — an interactive experience for grades 5–8 and high school rooted in St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.

We partner with parents and teachers to help students understand their God-given dignity and the goodness of their bodies, empowering them to stand up for what is good, true, and beautiful.

We were grateful to participate in the Mini March for Life this past Saturday, hosted by Cincinnati Right to Life at Holy Name Church, and to pray outside of Planned Parenthood for an end to abortion. 💙🙏
