We want to be a resource to our customers, employees and alliances. This scope will comply with LEED certified facilities, those pursuing LEED certification as well as those that want a safe, clean and healthy building. All customers are cleaned using the Environmentally Friendly Cleaning method described in this policy.

The first day of JANCOA’s day porter appreciation event was a tremendous success! In the upcoming month, all 115 of our day porters will be invited to the JANCOA office. At this event, our Day Operations Manager, Sam Bepler, will express his gratitude for their dedication and hard work, while also discussing several ongoing training subjects, including the JANCOA process and safety.

JANCOA was grateful for the opportunity to volunteer our time today doing what we do best: CLEAN! Our Customer Service team met up this morning at the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati to spend a few hours deep cleaning their Taste of Hope Kitchen. We loved having the opportunity to give back to such an amazing organization who help so many families in our community!

The Ronald McDonald House offers a community of compassion, support, and the comforts of home to families with critically ill children, steps away from the medical care they need. Their House can care for 177 families every night, including parents, patients, siblings, and other family members. By easing the financial and emotional burdens of caregivers and by taking care of important practical needs, their House allows parents to focus entirely on caring for their children.

Founded in 1972 by Tony Miller, a 19-year-old student at UC. Tony started cleaning local taverns after one of his professors commented on the growing “services” sector, including janitorial services. When his father passed away in 1972, Tony transformed the company to a full-time operation in order to financially support his family. His pioneering efforts not only sustained the Miller family but laid the strong foundation upon which today’s award-winning company stands. Approximately 20 years later, Mary Miller joined the team to form a dynamic partnership of operations, sales, and leadership.

In the past 10 years, Ron Miller, Clint and Christy Bard, and Jarrod Butcher have taken significant leadership roles within the organization. With the help of the 2nd generation family members and our talented management, sales, and operations teams, JANCOA has been blessed with steady growth. JANCOA has 500+ full-time employees and cleans more than 18 million square feet nightly.
