The emergence of integrating sound with sound in Inner Radiant Life began in 2016, celebrating a dear friend’s wedding in Zion National Park on Daniel’s birthday. The birth of something new.
Then came a cherished friendship, one alchemy bowl, many gongs, a growing family of instruments, and countless life lessons that humbled me and taught me how to listen more deeply.
Becoming an Ayurvedic practitioner, studying sound, completing countless trainings and certifications, including becoming a Reiki Master, shaped this journey of listening, discernment, and letting go of what no longer serves.
Along the way, we also welcomed two cats, Bodhi and Willow, gentle guides of rest, presence, and rhythm in their own quiet ways 🐾
Sound has been shared in many forms and places: retreats, couples, schools, the Kroger Wellness Festival, CAC’s Architecture of Sound, the VA Caregiver Summit, The Music and Medicine Conference; with horses, children splashing in pools, pregnant mothers, end-of-life celebrations, under eclipses, in hospitals, with cancer survivors, grandparents and grandchildren, and weddings.
This past year has been a return to school for deeper study in yoga therapy, continuing to weave it all together, listening with gratitude and curiosity for what’s unfolding.
The future feels less like a plan and more like an invitation continued study, deeper inquiry, perhaps even a doctorate. Who knows what will unfold when listening leads the way.
I honor the friendships and teachers who have walked with me and guided me. Grateful for each step of the journey and open to what comes next.
May this be a gentle call to pause, listen deeply, and meet what’s unfolding.
