💫 : “I live fearlessly.”

Living fearlessly does not mean courageously. It simply means that I know that I can come through whatever comes my way.

Of course, there will be hard times, but I’ve had hard times before, just as you have. They may not yet be over, but they will be.

“What if” should not keep us from “Can be.”

Breathe simply and repeat: “I live fearlessly.”

What changes when the way you think begins to change?

Sometimes it’s not dramatic at first.
You simply notice conversations feel softer.
You respond instead of react.
You become more curious, more patient, more open.

And then one day you realize something deeper has shifted.

You speak differently to your students.
You relate differently to the people you love.
And most importantly, you begin speaking differently to yourself.

Instead of confronting mistakes, there is exploration.
Instead of correcting, there is encouragement.

This is what happens when the structure behind your thinking changes. When your internal “map” shifts, new choices naturally appear and life begins to feel lighter, clearer, and more possible. 💛

P.S. In March, we’ll be exploring these ideas more deeply in our upcoming FREE 3-Part Live Series, NLP Success: Living & Loving Fearlessly, guided by Larry Wells. Join the waitlist in the comments!

💫 : “I shine like the sun.”

I learned in Sunday school a song that began, “This little light of mine, I’m going to let shine.”

I have come to realize that this is not just a “religious” song but is meant for religious and non-religious alike.

We each have our own light to bring into the world.

So, simply breathe and repeat: “I shine like the sun.”

💛 We’ve been exploring so many ways the body balances, coordinates, and communicates with itself.

From walking a narrow line to pelvic lifts, to one-leg balance, diagonal folds, and counter-rotations between your shoulders and pelvis, each lesson has built on the last. Every gentle movement helped your nervous system learn, adapt, and integrate new patterns so that walking and everyday movement can feel lighter, more coordinated, and confident. 🌿

In this final video of Walking the Line series, we bring it all together with a slightly more complex movement. Arms, hips, and feet work together in ways you’ve been preparing for through the earlier lessons. You’ll notice how the pieces connect and how your nervous system orchestrates your whole body in harmony.

If you haven’t done the previous lessons yet, this isn’t the place to start. Move through Lessons 1–6 first, then return here. You’ll see how each step leads to the next and how your nervous system integrates all the learning.

This is also a reminder that small, consistent exploration creates profound changes over time. Every lift, reach, and step is giving your body the opportunity to refine coordination, balance, and confidence.

Every year, when the snow falls, they say yes. ❄️

Not because it’s easy.
Not because their bodies feel the same as they did years ago.
But because something shifts when you choose possibility over hesitation.

Making a snow angel might look playful. And it is.
But it’s also an exploration.

Getting down into the snow.
Feeling the cold.
Navigating heavy boots and changing joints.
Getting back up again.

Each year brings new sensations, new adjustments, new awareness. And yet, instead of asking, “Can I still do this?” the question becomes, “How can I do this now?”

Something special happens when we shift our perspective on what’s possible. Fear softens. Creativity shows up. The body finds a way. 💛

P.S. If this spirit of saying “yes” speaks to you, we’re also offering a FREE 3-Part Live Series, NLP Success: Living and Loving Fearlessly, where we’ll explore simple tools to create deep, lasting change. All are welcome.

💫 : “I let go.”

There’s a joke about a man who dragged a heavy chain with him everywhere he went. Someone asked him why he always dragged that chain. He said, “Have you ever tried to push one these things?” I used to drag a chain called history, my past and it was burdensome.

But I discovered I had survived that past and didn’t need to take it with, to experience it anew every day. I learned to let it go. I put it behind me where it belongs, behind me. All the images, sounds, sensations, everything but the learnings were boxed up and moved far behind me. Still there but very small.

Breathe simply, box it all up and repeat: “I let go.”

💫 Walking is not just a leg movement. It’s a conversation between your pelvis and your shoulders.

In Lesson 6 of our Walking the Line series, Cynthia guides you into noticing something subtle but powerful: when your pelvis moves in one direction, your shoulder girdle responds in the opposite direction.

As the pelvis turns forward, the shoulder turns back.
As one side rises, the other responds.
They circle around each other in a quiet, coordinated spiral.

This cross-pattern is one of the keys to smooth, efficient walking. When it becomes clearer in your awareness, your movement can feel lighter, more connected, and less effortful. 🌿

Using gentle hand placement at the belly button and breastbone, you’ll explore this natural opposition and sense how your upper and lower body organize together.

You don’t have to force it. Your nervous system already knows this pattern. You’re simply giving it the opportunity to remember. 💛

Every day when we wake up, we have a choice. Do we curl inward, pulled by fear, pain, or old habits, or do we open ourselves to possibility, to lightness, to curiosity? 🌿

Dwight Pargee faced this question in the most profound way. After an illness caused him to lose sensation in his legs, he could no longer trust his body in the ways he once did. The path forward was not forcing movement where it could not yet go. It was engaging the parts of himself that could move easily, like his head, neck, and arms.

Constraint became opportunity. Fear became creativity. Through gentle awareness and system-wide coordination, Dwight discovered a new way of moving, sensing, and living. đź’›

In this conversation with Feldenkrais Practitioner Lavinia Plonka, Dwight shares how he rebuilt self-image, re-patterned habits, and cultivated biological optimism, not by returning to what was lost, but by creating something new.

💫 : “What I see is what I get.”

That was a popular line of Geraldine, a character played by comedian Flip Wilson. But it can be quite a powerful saying. What do you anticipate? What do you see in your mind’s eye? Whatever you “see” is what you’ll likely get. Do you see yourself being the person you want to be? Do you see good things ahead? “Energy flows where attention goes.” Preparing for the worst can be an attractor. The clearer the picture of having what you want the more likely it is true. In this case change the mantra.

Breathe simply and repeat: “What I see is what I get.”

💫 It’s been a little while since we continued our Walking the Line series… and this next lesson is worth the wait!

Your pelvis isn’t just about lifting and lowering—it also moves subtly from side to side, and noticing this can completely change the way you walk, balance, and feel supported. 🌿

In this fifth lesson, Cynthia guides you through sensing the sideways shift of your pelvis using gentle hand placement along your greater trochanter. You’ll begin to notice asymmetries, subtle differences between sides, and how past injuries or habits influence your movement. Even small, mindful explorations like this help your nervous system refine coordination, stability, and fluidity—making walking feel lighter, smoother, and more effortless. 💛

Whether you feel a lot of side-to-side movement or almost none, this exercise is a way to reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms and awareness. Your nervous system loves this kind of “practice,” and the results show up in everyday movement.

💫 : “I am emerging!”

There was a time during which I believed that I was lacking. I needed to stuff more good qualities into me. I wanted to be a good boy, a kind boy, someone who helped others.

We all been taught that we are broken and need to be “fixed.” I now know that I am not broken and do not need to be fixed. I am incomplete, unfinished but am emerging.

All the good qualities are within. It take time and experience for them to emerge.

Breathe simply and repeat: “I am emerging.”

Last Day to Join Your Learning Body đź’›

If you have been hesitating, you are not alone. Many members are juggling work, family, health, and recovery, and wonder if they have the energy for one more thing.

Good news. This membership is not hours of work or rigid routines. You can start with one lesson a week or even 10 minutes and notice meaningful shifts in how your body moves, feels, and organizes itself.

Feldenkrais-based work is not a treatment done to you. It is a way of learning that helps your nervous system find ease, flexibility, and confidence. You do not need to believe in it 100 percent. You only need to be willing to try.

Many people join skeptically and stay because they feel the quiet message from within that this is what their body needs.

Today is the last day to join. Doors close tonight. Do not miss your chance to move, feel, and learn in a supportive community.
