The SW RBHWC uses a strategic pillar framework to guide its actions, investments, and long-term goals—focusing on the priorities needed to build the behavioral health workforce our region needs.

Each pillar has a dedicated committee that brings this framework to life through focused action and collaboration. ✅

The Public Policy & Advocacy Committee works to identify and address policy barriers in Ohio that impact workforce growth.

Their priorities include reimbursement rates, insurance and parity issues, education and training investments, licensure barriers, and student financial aid programs—all aimed at creating a stronger, more sustainable behavioral health workforce. 💪🏾

You don’t have to live in a big city to make a big difference. 🌾

FERN and The Guardian explore LandLogic, revealing why rural behavioral health care needs professionals who meet people where they live and work.

Farmers and rural residents often face isolation, high stress, and limited access to care—but with the right support, including providers who understand their environment, lives can be saved.
