UC Neurology Research Department and Marinus Pharmaceutical company is working with UC emergency department to explore an investigational treatment for patients who experience prolonged, life-threatening seizures. They would like our help and feedback about their study by participating in focus groups.

Current focus group dates: September 26th and October 11th 12p-1p

Congratulations to all of the fourth year pharmacy students at the University of Cincinnati who matched in Phase 1 of the ASHP match process! UC's match rate this year was 75%.

The PY4's will be headed to complete their residencies at different practice sites in various states across the US.

We are wishing the best of luck to everyone going through phase 2 of the match!!!

P3’s, this will be a great introduction to it before you start APPE’s!

To kick off PAI week, our first event will be on February 23rd from 1-2 pm.

Join us as we SSHP & PLS welcome our speaker, Dr. Emma Palmer, an associate professor at the College of Pharmacy who specializes in mental illness and psychiatry. We will be discussing well-being, self care, and about the “Imposter Syndrome” and how to overcome it.

SSHP is excited to present: PAI WEEK!

We will be having CoCA APPROVED events week long as we learn from all kinds of clinical pharmacy specialists who will represent the 5 domains of PAI. Come participate and learn about the nationwide PAI Week initiative that SSHP is participating in!

Those who attend 3+ PAI events will be entered into a drawing for a raffle basket put together by SSHP. Join us on our Teams Channel from 1-2 pm for Tuesday, and 12-1 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

For National Pharmacy Technician Day, we would like to say thank you to all of the amazing pharmacy technicians on the front lines every day!! Pharmacists could not provide the level of patient care that we do if it weren't for all of your hard work.

Today, learn about how Ryan Craynon (a JLWCOP graduate who completed a two year health-system pharmacy administration and leadership residency at the University of Wisconsin Health in Madison, WI) is leading the way in advancing pharmacy technicians at Cincinnati Children''s Hospital Medical Center.

Ryan has lead the implementation of the Pharmacy Technician Leadership Residency at CCHMC. His vision for the program is that technicians who complete the residency will be prepared to take on leadership roles within the pharmacy department.
