We had a fantastic time at Green Township Senior Center leading a Laughter Yoga session. What a wonderful group of - full of energy, laughter, and open hearts. Together we stretched, breathed, and laughed out way to a healthier day, proving once again that laughter truly is the best medicine! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a joyful experience.

🎓💐 At 90 years young, Rita Victoria Hernandez just proved it’s never too late to chase your dreams!

After earning her high school diploma 73 years ago, Rita enrolled in college during the pandemic to “keep her brain alive”—and this May, she proudly graduated from Mount San Jacinto College alongside her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren cheering her on.

Her cap? Adorned with the Puerto Rican flag.
Her smile? Absolutely unforgettable.

Let Rita’s story be your reminder that learning has no age limit. 💫

Sock Hop Fun at the Colerain Senior Center

The Colerain Senior Center turned back the clock for a lively sock hop, complete with music, dancing, and plenty of 1950s flair! Visiting Angels kept things cool by sponsoring delicious root beer floats, while guests showed off their best moves in bobby socks and poodle skirts. Thanks to all the fantastic volunteers!! A great time was had by all!

One of our volunteers is on the board of the of the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners! The chapter is hosting a virtual event on August 28th, on scams that affect seniors. The presenter is Danielle Murphy, of the Office of Ohio Attorney General’s Office, and her presentation is designed to educate and raise awareness about current consumer scams. This is a free event, so anyone is the State is welcome to join!
