March is Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month (BDAM)
Today is the first day of BDAM, a national observance honoring everyone affected by inherited bleeding disorders - hemophilia, von Willebrand disease (VWD), rare factor deficiencies, and platelet disorders.
Together we can raise awareness, educate, and advocate for individuals and families living with a bleeding disorder.

Statehouse Day 2026 registration is open.
There’s no cost to attend, but please know you are needed at the Statehouse from 9am until 2:30pm. You must be treated at an HTC or connected to a chapter to attend. If you live outside of Franklin county, we will provide you with a hotel room in Cap Sq.

Time is running out to register for the Cooking w/Couples Across the Country virtual program taking place this Saturday, January 31st. The program will take place from 2-4:30 p.m.
Each couple will receive the basket below with treats from each of the 10 chapters/states with a $50 gift card.

Time is running out to register for Cooking w/Couples Across the County, Saturday, January 31st!
Join other bleeding disorder couples from around the country for a fun, interactive cooking class via Zoom.
This program is in collaboration with 10 other chapters across the country!
Meet new friends from Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Ohio/Kentucky, Oregon, and Texas.
Participants will receive the recipe with a list of ingredients needed before the program. Those who participate, with their cameras on will receive a $50 reimbursement gift card plus a box of treats from all of the states listed above.
There will be a 30 minute presentation from our sponsor Sanofi, followed by a cooking lesson from Chef Mike who will show us how to make Loco Moco!
Spots are limited to10 couples. If your partner isn't able to participate, you are welcome to invite a friend or other family member, as long as they are 18 or over.

TSBDF Dinner & a Movie
Viewing of "Dismissed"
Monday, December 8th
Theater

Registration will take place at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner and the viewing will follow starting at 6 p.m.

The documentary, "Dismissed" focuses on the challenges women face with bleeding disorders like hemophilia, particularly the delayed diagnoses and inadequate treatment resulting from gender bias in medicine. The film follows the stories of several women, including a pregnant mother, a paralyzed woman, and a young advocate, highlighting the lack of understanding, treatment gaps, and misdiagnoses they have experienced.

Isabelle, the young advocate from Ohio who is featured in the film, will be in attendance to talk about her journey of living with a bleeding disorder.

This program is presented by Sanofi.

This program is for all bleeding disorder patients, caregivers and their immediate family members living in the same household.

Childcare will not be provided.
