Following Senate passage, the House of Representatives is debating a bill that would make deep cuts and harmful policy changes to Medicaid and to Marketplace insurance. The so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” passed the Senate on July 1 but needs House approval. The House intends to vote on the measure before July 4th. We need to act NOW to stop the bill from becoming law!

The stakes could not be higher. More than one-third of people in the bleeding disorders community get health insurance via Medicaid or the Marketplace – insurance that covers essential treatment and medicines. The bill now under consideration in the House threatens access to coverage and care for up to 17 million people.

This is our final chance to defeat this bill. Thank you for defending the programs that provide essential health insurance for so many in our bleeding disorders community!

Please email and call your Representative and urge them to vote NO on H.R. 1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act) that would decimate coverage for 17 million Americans and have disastrous impacts on the bleeding disorders community.
