Yoga w/ Linda: Yoga for Every Mind & Every Body

Yoga w/ Linda: Yoga for Every Mind & Every Body Update January 2026:
Wow! What a year! I have opened my own studio space in Hair Management Salon on the Westside of Cincinnati in Bridgetown.

Linda Gehrum - Yoga instructor
I've been practicing yoga since 2010 and have a 200hr certificate + 35hr YIN; trauma informed certification 2025; Yoga Alliance teacher with ongoing continuing education hours. The address there is 5541 Bridgetown Rd. It is across from Stumps Bowling and in the Giovanetti Eyecare building. Pull in the Giovanetti lot and drive all the way around back. The address on the door of the lower level is 5545. We'll help you from there make your way back to the studio. I am still affiliated with Emily and Total Body by Bender and you can still book on Vagaro. Or message me and I can add you to a class. And, as always, your first class is free. Make 2026 your best year yet! -Linda

Update:
July 2025:
For over 15 yrs the practice of yoga has helped me navigate this lifelong journey of emotional well-being. My beautiful teacher does not teach anymore so I became a teacher to share this inspirational practice with anyone that wants to learn how to change their relationship with their own mental, emotional and physical self. I am not teaching to make a living- I am teaching because yoga has truly helped me live. I am passionate about sharing yoga with as many people as possible - for connection, for healing, for growth. My yoga classes offer the opportunity to cultivate awareness physically and mentally inviting curiosity, grace and gratitude. It gives you the tools to shift how you relate to discomfort. Yoga is truly a practice for any mind and any body when you give yourself permission to meet yourself where you are in each moment. Ready to try a class? message me to let me know you're attending a class- your first class is free. Oct 2023:
Welcome to my page! I became a yoga instructor with the hope of helping others get what I get out of yoga: a way to learn how to cope with anxiety and/or depression and to find more peace and calm in their everyday lives. What I didn't expect was the intense joy I feel during and after teaching classes. My goal is to have all inclusive classes so any body and any mind can benefit from the class. PM me for more info. With grace and gratitude -Linda

My word this year is 'embrace'. Learning to embrace myself, my family, my friends, this life and this crazy world just as it is. If there is one big lesson I have learned in life, it's that in order to change something, you have to embrace exactly what it is right now. It's the only way to find the clarity and focus to have your starting point. And sometimes we just have to EMBRACE without the need to change!

My friend Michele organizes a 'word of the year' Facebook post every year. I love to see what people choose and why.
Do you pick a word of the year? If so, post it in the comments below. There is no 'wrong' or 'right'.
Some of my past words were 'fluid'. Which served me well when we had a family emergency and I had to drop everything and fly out west. That whole year I let things come and go. It's amazing with just a little intention how we can transform ourselves and the world around us.
This past year was 'curious'. I am, by experience, a planner! I try to over plan and predict my world so I can 'handle' whatever comes my way. This past year was packed with so much to be curious about. I got scuba certified (I used to be terrified of the open water), took the skipper certification course and learned how to sail a boat, both my kids moved out, and I had major foot surgery. Without curiosity I would have been a hot mess. Again, with just some intention, which shifted my perspective, I was able to do all of these things, if not with grace, at least with resilience!
If you want help picking a word pm or text me!
Happy New Year! πŸŽ‰

Happy New Year! Below are some updates going into 2026

1. As of January 1, 2026, we will be transitioning back to our 5 W. Howell location. This studio is located next to the police station and behind the skate park in Cleves and will house Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, and Stretch & Release classes.

Please note: There will be NO classes at the 128 location.

With this transition, you may notice slight time adjustments to some classes. These changes are intended to make parking easier for everyone. Our waiting area is small, so please plan to wait in your car until about 5 minutes before class.

2. Emily’s Therapeutic Pilates Privates are currently fully booked. Moving into the new year, we will begin a waitlist and move clients through as space opens and as individuals progress into group classes. Want to join the waitlist? Email pilates.by.emily3@gmail.com or text 513-449-1802

3. Private Reformer sessions are still available on the schedule with MG, Caroline, and Robin. Can’t find a time that works for you? Text 513-449-1802, and we’ll help you find a spot.

4. Book your classes EARLY - book out if possible. Spots are already filling up going into the new year! If people aren’t signed up for a class, we may switch the class to fit someone in!

5. Pricing has been adjusted for the new year! Please visit our website for more information!

Excited for growth & forward movement into 2026!

Happy Friday! Today's feel good Friday is about yoga. Do you wander what yoga is and why it seems so good for your mental health, not just your physical body? Yoga means 'to unite'. It can apply to the mind, body and spirit or to the concept that all things are united.
Have a great Friday everyone!
