We at PsychPros morn the loss of our friend, Pat Tribbe. Pat was part of our PsychPros family as his late wife, Marilyn worked here for many years. This is a tremendous loss to the Mental Health community.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Patrick Tribbe CEO of the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board passed away early Sunday morning (October 23, 2022) after a brief illness. He passed peacefully with his daughter Jessica by his side.

Pat was a very private and modest individual who, as a leading professional in the behavioral health field, had a profound impact on the many communities to which he dedicated his life, including Cincinnati, Chillicothe, Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and Newfoundland, Labrador. With five decades of faithful service his commitment and compassion have changed the lives of thousands of individuals and inspired others in their own service to those experiencing mental illness and addiction. Pat was a friend to many, and his integrity, honesty, thoughtfulness, collaborative nature, and wise counsel will be truly missed. We all feel his loss, but the MHRSB and the community are better because of Pat.

PsychPros, Inc. has Medical Social Worker assignments available with full-service medical centers across southern, CA. The Medical Social Worker will assist patients and their families with care planning and discharge plans, complete psychosocial assessments, and partner with patients to identify needs and develop and implement individual treatment plans based on mutually agreed-upon treatment plans. In addition, SW will also discuss options for care proactively including medical center resources and external community/government resources to assist patients and families in developing short- and long-term care plans as appropriate. We also have medical social work opportunities in Fontana and Ontario, WestLA Los Angeles, Panorama City, Downey, and Harbor City, CA.

The assignment is expected to last 3 months or more and offers a work schedule that is primarily on weekdays 8:30 am-5 pm.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education with an active BBS registration as an ACSW/ASW and one (1) of experience in a health care setting preferred. Hospital acute care experience desired. Demonstrated ability to work on a multidisciplinary team. Must have solid psychosocial assessment skills. Knowledge of chronic and acute disease and how it impacts patient and family functioning. Must be computer-literate and, preferably, experienced in automated clinical information systems.

Qualifications-
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
• One year of experience working with children and/or families
