Enjoyed another 513 Relief Bus event yesterday in the Elmwood Town Hall! Handed out risk reduction supplies and offered free rapid HIV/HCV testing- all while successfully dodging the rain ☔️🌧️

We had a BLAST at the 2026 Health Expo this past Saturday. Our staff were able to distribute over 300 drug testing strips, 200 naloxone kits, 600 condoms, and 130 deterra packs while completing over 50 rapid HIV and HCV screening tests. What a day! ☀️😎

Spent our Sunday morning walking/running the Caracole AIDS 5k- the IDC/EIP/NKYH team raised over $2,000 in donations and registration fees to support Caracole’s work! 🏃‍♀️🏃💨

Started the week off strong at our monthly Bridge the Gap event, offering free infectious disease testing, wound care supplies, and other tools! Supported by Amerihealth Caritas, Neighborhub Health, and our former EIP team member and current PA student, Bella!

Had a great night back at Bridge the Gap after a few months away due to weather. Our team handed out harm reduction tools, wound care supplies, and offered free infectious disease testing to attendees with partner Neighborhub Health providing health screenings!

The Early Intervention Program honors Black HIV Awareness Day; a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and take action to improve HIV prevention, testing, and care in Black communities.

Black Americans continue to be disproportionately impacted by HIV due to long-standing inequities in access to healthcare, prevention resources, and culturally responsive care. Ending HIV means addressing these systemic barriers together.
